I can’t think of a better way for a child to contribute to the household chores and have fun at the same time than with this tricycle/lawn mower combo. I mean sure… the blades ARE kinda sharp and maybe a kid rides on those nifty little platforms once in a while… but think about how much grass is gonna get mowed in exchange for the “minor” safety hazard. How about a pogo stick with a spike on the bottom to help with the pre-seed aeration. Or maybe a hockey stick with handy hedge trimming blade attached… No?

Yeah… let’s see the wife buy into *that* one… but honestly, my wife seriously likes to ask the kids about using the leaf blower because they totally love to use it for about 5 mins; and because I can’t stand starting something and not finishing it, which means I get to finish the work
My personal preference is to not have grass; we have a combination of dirt (mainly the backyard because I cleared out a lot of leaf-covered area) and mostly moss in the front. Really barely ever need to mow!
